In February 2015, the LCO commissioned a paper to better understand the decision-making supports that currently exist in Ontario especially as they relate to aspects of property, treatment and personal care. As part on its ongoing and evolving work on the Legal Capacity, Decision-Making and Guardianship project, the LCO identified the use of “personal support networks” as one such support deserving closer examination and study. The completed paper, written by Sophie Nunnelley, is available here.
