LCO Executive Director to Deliver Several Keynote Addresses this Fall

The LCO’s Executive Director, Dr. Patricia Hughes, will deliver several keynote and plenary addresses this fall.

• November 14, 2013: Dr. Hughes will give the keynote speech to a plenary session of Presidents of each association of the County and District Law Presidents Association (CDLPA). The theme is “Access to Justice”.
• November 15, 2013: Dr. Hughes will deliver the keynote address at a one-day interdisciplinary colloquium hosted by The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts – Ontario chapter.  In August 2013, the LCO released its Final Report on family law reform: Increasing Access to Family Justice through Comprehensive Entry Points and Inclusivity.
• November 26, 2013: Dr. Hughes will participate in the 2013-2014 Institute for Work & Health (IWH) plenary series, speaking about the LCO’s report on Vulnerable Workers and Precarious Work, which was released in April 2013. 
• November 28, 2013: Dr. Hughes will be the keynote speaker at a forum on vulnerable workers hosted by Community Advocacy Legal Centre in Belleville, Ontario on November 28th. Since its release in April 2013, the LCO’s Report on Vulnerable Workers and Precarious Work has continued to keep the discussion alive on this “hot” topic.
