Working Together to Improve the Lives of Ontarians
To truly understand how the law affects you, we must look at issues from all angles: legal, macro and personal. The Law Commission of Ontario consults with a number of legal and non-legal individuals and organizations on its projects:
- Legal community (lawyers, judges, law students): those who currently work in or study law
- Government and policymakers: those who create, uphold and amend the law
- Community interest groups and associations: those who represent the general public by advancing specific issues
- General public: those who are directly affected by legal and social issues
