Beginning in August, C. W. Jefferys Collegiate Institute student Priya Khatri will join the LCO as a LAWS participant for the remainder of the summer. Priya will be starting Grade 12 in the fall and has an interest in pursuing law as a profession.
LAWS (Law in Action Within Schools) is a collaborative education initiative of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Osgoode Hall Law School and the Toronto District School Board. It is a unique curricular and experiential program aimed at supporting and mentoring local high school students for future careers in law. The LCO is a proud supporter of the LAWS program and continues to benefit from the work and insights of its participating students.
