As the Director of Workplace Safety & Compensation Policy for the Ontario Division of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, Maria monitors and directly responds to all policy and legislative changes involving the Workplace Safety & Insurance Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Outside of CME, Maria serves as an employer member on the Employment Insurance Board of Referees, where she hears appeals relating to decisions made by the Employment Insurance Commission.
