LCO Executive Director, Dr. Patricia Hughes will present at this half-day course offered by the Law Society of Upper Canada. Participants will learn about proposed reforms to sentencing, AMPs, search warrants, bail and trial re-opening, effective courtroom presentation skills and techniques for handling challenging aspects of a Provincial Offences Act trial. Members of the LCO’s Modernization of the Provincial Offences Act Project Advisory Group will also be among the speakers.
