Sue Gratton to Speak at Advocates’ Society Defamation Law Conference and Ad IDEM Annual Conference

LCO Counsel, Dr. Sue Gratton, will speak at the Advocates’ Society’s Defamation Law Conference on October 31, 2018. The conference will produce a tool kit to advise clients and litigate defamation matters skillfully.

She will also speak at the annual conference of the Canadian Media Lawyers Association (“Ad IDEM”), November 2-3, 2018, in Montreal. At the annual conference, there will be panels that discuss and analyze the recent developments in the law in Canada and internationally.

At both events, Sue will provide an update on the LCO’s Defamation Law in the Internet Age project and will be discussing the themes arising from the consultation process.
