The Law Commission of Ontario is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Pinto as Chair of the Board of Governors, effective September 1st, 2018. Andrew replaces Bruce Elman, Chair of the Board since September 2012. “I’m honoured to chair Ontario’s leading law reform agency and work with my Board colleagues, the Law Commission’s Executive Director and staff to recommend better laws for all Ontarians”, says Andrew.
The LCO would like to sincerely thank and bid farewell to Bruce Elman. Bruce has been a dedicated member of the board and advocate for the LCO. His hard work over the years has significantly contributed to the LCO’s success. “I would like to personally thank Bruce for his great leadership on the LCO board. It has been a pleasure working with him. I would also like to welcome Andrew to his new role on the LCO Board. I know that we will continue to thrive in the years ahead”, says Nye Thomas, LCO Executive Director.
